The Film Club of ASCO organized film screening and discussion session on Wednesday, 21 September 2016. Prof. Manish Verma, director (ASCO) introduced 1990 American gangster film "
GoofFellas" to the student and faculty members of the club.

He spoke about the context, style and execution of the film with the special reference to the filmmaker Martin Scorsese. Students interacted during the session and asked serious doubts regarding the film. The 2:30 hours film was screened after the introduction and open forum was kept for raising concerns from the film. The club members came up with different angles of the film like politics, violence, crime and society.
