Students gained knowledge and experience at Talk Journalism 2016

Communication and Journalism found a beautiful venue at Fairmont Jaipur to refine their already defined multi-dimensional dependency. Boasting its hospitality, Fairmont Jaipur successfully held ‘Talk Journalism’, an event boosted by the giants like Google, Facebook and Twitter including Amity University Rajasthan as University Partner, which helped in bridging the gap between the journalists and the society.

“The purpose of holding an event like Vox Media`s Talk Journalism is to allow journalists to present their own views on various issues of their and social interest,” said one of the spokespersons of Nexzen, Event Managing Partner of Talk Journalism. The event, which held from 29 July 2016 to 31 July 2016, was attended by the students of various schools, colleges and universities. 

Amity University Rajasthan, aside from standing as University Partner, made its presence felt through high participation by its enthusiastic students and as well as by director of Amity School Of Communication Prof. Manish Verma who shared his views and the stage with Ayaz Memon speaking on Sports Journalism.

The galaxy of distinguished guests who spoke on various issues including safety of journalists, politics and journalism, new media and print media included Prakash Chandra Hota, Ayaz Memon, Rahul Dev, Jawahar Sircar, Ravish Kumar, Kumar Vishwas and many other gems from various fields.

In a nutshell, the environment was charged with intellectual thoughts which made the event passing as a success story with flying colors.
